Anne Hidalgo is going to announce on Tuesday the program « Paris welcomes the UEFA EURO 2016 », during a press conference with Didier Paillard, Robert Pirès and Franck Leboeuf.

From June 10 to July 10, 2016, Paris will have the honor of hosting the UEFA EURO 2016 with nine other French cities such as Saint-Denis, its privileged partner. This event will offer the capital the opportunity to assert its identity of open, smart, sustainable, and creative city.

Paris is ready to bid an enthusiastic welcome to all football lovers whether they are French or foreign, to promote European cultures and to consolidate its vocation to host major sporting events. Out of the 51 matches scheduled, five of them will take place at the Parc des Princes and 7 at the Stade de France, among which the opening match and the final. The UEFA EURO 2016 will be an extraordinary popular celebration that will bring together Parisians and visitors alike around a shared passion, in every district, every neighborhood, every street.

On Tuesday, and in the presence of Jacques Lambert, President of EURO 2016 S.A.S and football personalities like Robert Pirès and Franck Leboeuf, Anne Hidalgo will disclose the exceptional program that will be launched in Paris as soon as September 2015.

The city of Paris is committed with UEFA and the City of Saint-Denis, to make this long-awaited international event an unforgettable festive and convivial meeting.
