Paris and UEFA EURO 2016 invite you to participate in the various meetings organized during the final draw of UEFA EURO 2016 that will take place in Paris on Friday 11 and Saturday 12, December.
From June 10 to July 10, 2016, Paris and nine other French cities will be hosting UEFA EURO 2016. This event is an opportunity for the French capital to assert its love of sport, and its identity of open, smart, sustainable and creative city ready to welcome French and foreign visitors and to promote the cultures of Europe.
Paris wants to demonstrate its capacity to organize with all the Parisians and the Ile de France population a EURO that is at the same time close to the people, festive and convivial and that involves projects of international scope on the occasion of an exceptional event.
On the occasion of the Final draw of UEFA EURO 2016, four moments are proposed to the media:
Friday, December 11 at 9:30 AM: media breakfast
Jean-François Martins, deputy Mayor in charge of sports and tourism, vice president of the Sites Club, will present the Paris program before and during UEFA EURO 2016 at a media breakfast.

Friday, December 11 at 4:45 PM: draw of the GENERATION 98 tournament
Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, Jean-François Martins, deputy Mayor, the footballers Robert Pirès and Franck Leboeuf, as well as the official mascot Super Victor, invite you to attend the draw of the « Generation 98 » tournament that brings together young people born in 1988 who will be 18 during the official competition. This event organized with the Club of French Internationals (CIF), will associate Paris sports associations and youth centers, into 20 Paris teams and four teams from the city of Saint-Denis and the Seine Saint-Denis Department. The final of the tournament will take place on May 8, 2016 at Jean Bouin stadium. The winning team will play a gala match with the team of the Club of Football Internationals (CIF), including players of the 1998 World Cup and of UEFA EURO 2000, among whom the two ambassadors of the project Robert Pirès and Franck Leboeuf.

Saturday, December 12 at 11:15 AM: signing of the partnership between Française des Jeux and the Euro 2016 host cities
Alain Juppé, president of the Sites Club, Jean-François Martins, vice president of the Sites Club, and Stéphane Pallez, CEO of Française des Jeux, will formalize the partnership between the cities and this company. According to the agreement, FDJ is going to provide the attire for the 4000 volunteers recruited to ensure the welcome in the cities of the 7 million visitors in the fan zones (among whom 1 million foreign supporters expected). After the signing ceremony, a media briefing will be organized.
