After 8 events in 8 retirement homes, the final match will be held next Wednesday. Organized by the City of Paris and the association Tatane, this inter-generational foosball tournament brings together children and elders and give them the opportunity to celebrating together and in their own way the great festival that is EURO championship.
By hosting the UEFA EURO 2016, the City of Paris wished to make this event a true moment of sharing for everyone, no matter their age. The City of Paris accordingly set up this foosball event for seniors and children in partnership with the association Tatane, whose Chairman is former football pro-player Vikash Dhorasoo.
This tournament enabled elders from retirement homes and children from day care centres to play side-by-side in mixed teams on cardboard-made foosballs.
After 8 events in retirement homes from different Parisian arrondissements, the final match will be held next Wednesday, promising once more exciting moments of joy for the players.
