UEFA EURO 2016 : Presentation of the World Senior Wrestling Championship at the Pavillon Paris

On the occasion of UEFA EURO 2016, Alain Bertholom, chairman of the FFLDA (French Federation for Wrestling and Associated Disciplines) invites you next Wednesday in the Pavillon Paris for a presentation of the World Senior Wrestling Championship taking place in Paris in 2017.

Two years away from the World cup organised in the Bercy Arena (Paris) from August 21^st to August 26^th 2017, Alain Bertholom, chairman of the FFLDA, will present the competition in the Pavillon Paris of the Eiffel Tower Fan Zone in the presence of Lise Legrand, vice chairman of the FFLDA and bronze medal of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and Jean-Philippe Dos Prazeres, director of the 2017 Championship.

This event is the occasion for the FFLDA and the City of Paris of seeing the French and international athletes stand out as well as promoting the sports practice on the territory. Besides, the Championship will be the last sports world meeting organised in France before the Olympic Congress that will name the hosting city in Lima on September 13^th 2017 for the 2024 Olympic Games.

Young wrestlers of the INSEP (French National Institute of Sport and Physical Education) will make a wrestling demonstration inside the Pavillon Paris.
