Since its opening on June 9th, the Eiffel Tower Fan Zone has brought happiness to the French and foreign supporters coming to celebrate their love for football in a friendly atmosphere. Next Sunday, the Eiffel Tower Fan Zone will welcome its one millionth visitor.
Next Sunday, the Eiffel Tower Fan Zone should welcome its one millionth visitor since the beginning of the competition for the broadcast of France – Iceland quarter finals. According to the rhythm of the public’s entries, this step will probably be taken between 07:00 p.m. and 08:00 p.m. On this occasion, the one millionth visitor will be invited by the City of Paris to attend the UEFA EURO 2016 finals at the Stade de France.
On the occasion of UEFA EURO 2016, the City of Paris welcomes Europe and the football world for a month. From June 10th to July 10th, Paris welcomes passionate visitors from all over the world to share the same fervour together!
It is the Champ-de-Mars, one of Paris’ most beautiful sites, that has been chosen to welcome the Parisian Fan Zone and provide all Parisians and visitors of all age with the possibility to live an extraordinary, festive and friendly experience around football with the broadcast of the every game of the competition.
Since June 9th, the Eiffel Tower Fan Zone continues to beat records for attendance especially for the French team’s games, with more than 90,000 visitors during the France – Suisse game on June 19th and during the round-of-sixteen last June 26th against Ireland.
